WOREC Nepal organised a national workshop on September 21, 2011 in Kathmandu marking the International Peace day with the slogan 'Where is our Dignity'. Several womens from all around the country were present in the workshop to bring in the attention of the leaders to their situation between and after the conflit period with the violences they faced for being women. The leaders made a commitment to address their issues. Hope this time, the commitment expressed by Chairperson of UCPN Maoist Pushpakamal Dahal 'Prachanda', CPN-UML chairpeson–Jhalnath khanal, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Chaiperson Upendra Yadav, CPN Samyutka Chaiperson Chandra Dev Joshi, CPNML Secretary General– CP Mainali and and other leaders, will lead to the action for addressing voilence against women. Women's had presented 18 points demand letter in the national workshop.
