WOREC conducted the 3 days training on Basic Humanitarian principle, Safe referral, Case management and Psychosocial support based on the modules developed by GBV sub-cluster in close coordination with the Department of women and children. The training was organized on 19 March 2021 and on 22 and 23 March. A total of 39 GBV sub-cluster members received the training.
The objective of the training was to rollout the Modules of Basic humanitarian principle, Safe referral, Case management and Psychosocial support to the GBV sub-cluster members especially focusing on the delivery of these contents and providing the knowledge and skills on the modules.
Participants acknowledged the initiation of the GBV sub-cluster in the capacity building of the members and committed to rollout these modules in their own organizations.
Participants from GBV sub-clusters participated in the training which included organization like FWLD, VSO, Nepal Police, Women and Children Service Directorate, Action Aid, World Bank, UNFPA, Department of women and children, National Women Commission, National Human right commission, Shanti Foundation, CVICT, TPO, Koshish, NDWA, Blue diamond society, WOREC, People in Need and Saathi. The training was facilitated by the technical expert of UNFPA, WOREC, Department of women and children, National women commission and psychosocial consultant from CVICT.
