Mrs. Sangita Adhikari: She has completed a master’s degree in Management and Rural Development. With more than 13 years of working experience, she has expertise in gender equality, diversity, social inclusion, women's rights, and gender-based violence. She has worked on GESI integration in multi-sectoral programs like Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change, Water, Sanitation, and hygiene, along with engaging in research with various organizations like SNV, Mercy Corps, WOREC, SEWAC, and the NGO Federation. Currently, she is taking the lead on the GESI theme for the Managing Risk through Economic Development (M-RED) Program of Mercy Corps Nepal. She is an activist and member of different National and International women’s networks and alliances. She is an executive member of WOREC Nepal and treasurer of Youth Acting for Change (YAC) Nepal.
